Sharita Harding is an Intake Coordinator and Clinician for The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors in San Antonio. She provides quality personalized service and support during all phases of the mental health treatment process. Sharita is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a wealth of experience in diverse range of positions within social services. Sharita is honored to have dual military connection as a Veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve and continues to serve as a spouse of an Active Duty Servicemember. She has two teenaged children and is currently pursuing her Ph. D in Counseling Supervision and Education at Hampton University. Angie K Books was founded in October 2017 and reestablished as an LLc in August 2018. AngieK has self-published eight fiction novels ranging from drama, urban lit and erotica/romance. She has assisted in publishing six other Authors in various locations of the US with their personal stories/memoirs and has coached a multitude of aspiring writers as well with their story. AngieK has begun her own tutoring program in September of 2023 where she concentrates on students from the 4th to 8th grade in English Literature due to some struggles she began to see in some young scholars. In addition to all the things above she has started hosting her own events mostly inspired by stories created by herself or others. She has named herself the Literary Guru of all things Literature. In February of 2023 she received her certification in professional life coaching to level up her coaching in the personal story literary world. James Michael Houston, Sr. is a native of Newark, NJ, the eldest child born to J.M. and EdithHouston, both deceased, a father to seven sons, and grand father of six grandchildren, 5 girlsand 1 boy. A proud combat military veteran of the US Navy, where he served honorably as aHospital Corpsman Second Class Petty Officer. Fatima Keys M. A, LPC, LCDC has always had a passion with helping others with life struggles. She gained experience by providing counseling forunderserviced populations while she obtained her bachelor’s in psychology in1999. However, in 2013 and after Fatima started working through her own lifestruggles, she received her masters and professional licensures to startprofessional counseling services independently. Fatima understands herclients’ challenges, such as how it feels to desire isolation because of depression; how it feels to be burnt out because of work; and how to want to avoid life because of anxiety, or feelings of uncontrollable anger. Joseph Price is a pastor, certified mental health & professional life coach , and motivational speaker who uses biblical and practical methods to help hard working people avoid the what he calls business burnout . Melissa Davis is a Recreation Therapist and Recreation Therapist with over 8 years of experience in varying settings of RT. Melissa graduated from Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with a bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation. A few months after graduation, Melissa attended the University of Toledo to receive her Master of Arts in Recreation Administration. Melissa initially started her career in Parks and Recreation with M-NCPPC in Prince George’s County, Maryland supervising two after school programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. After two and a half years of supervising individuals in the program and staff, Melissa decided it was time for a career shift. It was during her internship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland she realized the clinical path was her calling.

Melissa made the grand move from Maryland to the Lone Star State to work in a psychiatric hospital and work in a new-to-her field of contracting. During her time in Texas, it was Melissa’s goal to gain exposure to as many settings as she could until she landed on an unlikely role that changed her life. An outpatient military rehabilitation facility, it was here that Melissa grew an undying love for service members and adaptive sports. Though this position was a great learning opportunity for Melissa she gained more knowledge about the inner workings of the military and the connection of recreational therapy. Melissa has been a long-time advocate for growing the RT profession and has held positions as a board member (2018-2021) and the first African-American Chair of the Board (2020-2021) of the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification.

Outside of her accolades, Melissa enjoys spending time with family, friends and people of the like. Melissa resides in San Antonio and enjoys crafting, learning something new, reading, walking with her dog and enjoying any activity revolving around good food, beverages, being outdoors, and water!

Abbey Fuller, PhD, MSN-Ed, RN

I have been a registered nurse for over 35 years and have taught nursing for the past 20 years. Currently, I am a faculty member at Schreiner University, teaching in the RN-BSN program. I am a nurse researcher who has done research on stress and the impact it has on the health and well-being of veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars.

After losing my significant other Tony to suicide in 2016, I became a volunteer for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and a strong advocate of suicide prevention. I have been a field Advocate for AFSP for the past 5 years advocating for policies at the state and federal levels to increase funding for suicide prevention, research, mental health services and mandated teacher training. For the past two years I have been serving as a board member for AFSP, South Texas Chapter. Recently, I was invited to serve on AFSP National Public Policy Council for 3years. I have also taken valuable Applied Suicide Intervention

Skills Training, so I can effectively assist those experiencing a mental health crisis.
